Despite the fact that the figure of Antonio Aparici y Guijarro (1815-1872) is unknown for many people, the valencian lawyer and journalist become one of the main figures of the neo-Catholicism since he was the only independent and catholic representative during the very decisive stage so-called Long Parliament of the Liberal Union. And later, during the six-year period, Aparici will become the maximum ideologue of Carlism. The present publication wants to understand the origins of the thoughts of this person, who will be key in the Spanish right-wing configuration.
