There was a time in which, coinciding with the rise of absolute monarchies and the rise of Catholicism, some cities were stages of impressive public, political and religious festivities, where numerous artists that designed machines, scenographies and the scenery stepped in. This monography collects the preserved images of the Baroque celebration to the Kingdom of Valencia, from 1599 to 1802, dates that coincide with the visit of the Royal Spanish family to the capital of the Valencian kingdom. This work is part of the project called Triunfos Barrocos, that pretends to collect and study all the Baroque festive images of the different kingdoms of Spanish Monarchy. The project is already preparing the next volumes.
