It is difficult to understand the contemporary history of the city and province of Castellón without paying attention to the relevance and significance that teacher training studies and the Castellón Normal School have had among its people. It is hard to find a family that does not include someone among its members or friends who has pursued these studies. For many years, it was the gateway not only to teacher training but also to other higher education studies. This publication is the result of the initiative of the Castellón Pedagogical Museum (MPdC) at Jaume I University to recover and dignify the historical and educational heritage.
