The different chapters in this book are the ones which are usually found in a professional engineering project: project description, blueprints, tender documentation, bill of quantities and total budget. The pilot plant described in this book is composed, broadly speaking, of a melting furnace, a rolling mill, an annealing furnace, a Cartesian robot, a water-jet cutting system, a dryer, an ink-jet decoration device and a crystallisation furnace. In addition to the production line, the plant also has a workshop, a laboratory, offices and an interior storage area for both the raw materials and the finished product. It should be noted that the corresponding economic feasibility study has been carried out and a health and safety assessment has been drawn up, which takes into account the occupational risks and their prevention. The practical approach adopted by this book makes it a valuable aid.
