Military engineer, war hero, explorer in Morocco and Sahara, prominent inventor in the field of wireless telegraphy, introducer of technical education by correspondence in Spain: his figure, well known and valued by his contemporaries, already fell into oblivion during his last years of life and until recently. His life was shaped by the ideological allegiance to republicanism, elected Member of Parliament for Valencia in 1908; follower of Ruiz Zorrilla, he subsequently went through the ranks of Soriano's radical republicanism and the Reform Party. He also had a prominent role within the Spanish masonry. This work is based on those two deeply interrelated ideals that marked his struggle and his life. | Il·lustracions en blanc i negre | Video presentació del llibre de Vicent Sampedro Ramo "Julio Cervera Baviera.
